so, me and my girlfriend (@queenofzan) have been having an incredibly rough summer/year, and both of us are unemployed (and unable to be employed). the only person in the house who is able to have a regular income is my girlfriend’s mother, who is working so much that the stress is beginning to take its toll, and she’s had a mystery illness for the past few weeks that makes it difficult for her to do work or eat anything solid, and she’s had to miss quite a few days of work because of it
and on top of that, we’ve had so many deaths in the family over the last year or so that i have lost count, which does not make dealing with anything easier. so far, we’ve been able to scrape by with rent so far (this month might be short), but recently it’s been difficult to afford food, for us and our cats and dogs (one of the the cats pictured here below)
i realize there are people out there who probably need assistance more than us, but it would be nice to not have to worry about food and rent as much, or have anything nice happen for once.

update: we just spent the last of our money on my meds, and food for the cats, so any assistance would really help!
